Clients can manage bookings, passes, passwords and more.
You may have already noticed some changes to the tabs on the booking system already.
Firstly, an 'Account' tab has appeared on your public profile or website widget. Secondly, we've updated the design of the tabs to use icons instead of words when browsing on a small screen such a mobile.
These changes are part of our ongoing goal of constantly improving the experience for businesses and clients - especially for clients browsing on mobile. Ultimately, the better we can make the booking experience for clients, the more it'll benefit your businesses.
The new 'Account' tab for clients
The 'Account' tab allows clients to register, login, change password, and logout - even if they're accessing the MagnaPass booking widget on your website. We will continue to build on this going forward, this is the first step.
Another benefit of the account tab is making it easier for clients to book. Previously, clients were required to fill out their name and email address manually every time the returned to book.
Now, MagnaPass will remember the client's details each time. When clients click book, their name and email address will automatically be filled out. Then they can continue to the checkout in a more streamlined process.
Tab icons optimised for small screens
We've made updates to the display of the public profile and website widget on smaller screens/spaces. When the screen width is smaller, it changes the words (i.e. Classes, Events, etc) to icons. This update was made with clients booking on mobile in mind especially, it improves the layout and use of space on the screen.
When clients browse and book on larger screens such as laptops and PC's, they will see the words on the tabs, so nothing has changed there.
Once different tabs are selected, the name of the tab will display just below as a subheading (e.g. About, Classes, etc) so clients always know where they are.
