Memberships Overview

Memberships allow you to create multiple plans for your clients to purchase.
Once your clients have enrolled, their membership fee will be taken automatically each payment cycle.
Memberships can be setup as weekly, monthly or annual plans, these are known as the 'billing cycle'.
You can setup as many membership plans as you need. The billing cycles match the calendar weeks, months, years rather than a set number of days or weeks.
The first payment a client makes when they purchase the membership is pro-rata. This means they'll pay for the remaining amount of the current billing cycle, so they pay for what they use.
All subsequent payments are charged upfront the day before of each new billing cycle at full price.
Once setup and clients are enrolled, you'll be able to view the list of clients on each membership plan, client's payment history and you'll be able to manage individual client's membership plans (e.g. pause, cancel or switch their membership plan).
There are a number of variables you can use to tailor a membership plan to your specific needs. This includes:
- Basic information: Name, price and description. Example: Gold Membership, £25 per month.
- Visibility: Choose whether the membership plan is public and visible to clients for them to book. You can turn this on and off anytime.
- Billing cycle: Choose weekly, monthly or yearly billing cycles. This cycle will also be the duration that clients have to use their membership quota (e.g. 10 classes per month).
- Which services are included: You can specify how many classes, events and/or courses can be booked using the membership per billing cycle. Example: 10 Classes, 3 Events, and 1 Course per month.
Setting up a Membership

The first step is to sign into your MagnaPass dashboard. Select 'My Services' and then 'Memberships'. This will display a list of packages (or an empty list if you don't have any packages set up yet). To begin setting up a package, click the 'Create a new package' button.
