As it's Valentines there is an opportunity to hang out after class over a glass of vino - Eirian will bring a few bottles and sweet treats but please BYO bottle to share with friends if you fancy more than one glass! :)
This is a mixed level class - on the 14th Eirian will teach a slow, nourishing flow suitable for beginners.
All forms of Yoga can be described as Yin or Yang based on which tissues of the body they target. A practice that focuses on exercising the muscles and moving blood in Yang. A practice that focuses on connective tissues is Yin. At my Mandala Vinyasa & Yin class the two styles of yoga will be intelligently blended together through a firm intention, such as an element (Fire, Air, Water, Earth) or Chakra. You will start the practice by awakening your body slowly through deep, long held Yin Yoga postures focusing on a specific group of muscles, preparing you for the more dynamic, Yang like – Mandala Vinyasa flow.
